Road to Paris 2024 Olympics

The Asian Wrestling Championships 2024 served as a crucial platform for wrestlers aiming to qualify for the Paris 2024 Olympics. With the Asian Olympic Wrestling Qualifiers scheduled to commence at the same venue on April 19, many top Indian wrestlers opted to focus on the qualifiers, leading to their absence from this tournament.

India has secured only one Olympic quota in wrestling so far, with Antim Panghal earning it after her remarkable performance in the women’s 53kg category at the 2023 World Championships.
