WRW Antalya 24 – April 21, 2024: In a thrilling display of endurance and skill, 22 teams have secured automatic qualification for the marathon race walk mixed relay at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, following their stellar performances at the World Athletics Race Walking Team Championships Antalya 24 on Sunday, April 21.

The marathon race walk mixed relay, set to make its Olympic debut in Paris in August, features teams of one man and one woman completing the marathon distance of 42.195 km in four legs of approximately equal distance. Each athlete races two legs, alternating man, woman, man, woman, creating a unique and dynamic event.

Among the teams that qualified, Italy, Japan, and Spain demonstrated remarkable strength and versatility. Japan, Spain, Australia, China, and Colombia qualified two teams each, highlighting their depth in race walking talent.
